Migrating from Postwise to Extudio
A guide for Postwise users: what maps across, what's different, and what to expect.
Overview
Postwise is an AI writer and scheduler for X: it drafts tweets and threads and schedules them to post.
Extudio does the same core job and builds it around a brand kit. You set your voice, pillars and glossary once, and Compose, Reply, Articles, Chat and Imagine all write from it.
Where things live
The same jobs, under different names. What you used in Postwise, and where to find it in Extudio.
| In Postwise | In Extudio |
|---|---|
| AI tweet writing | ComposeFrom a topic, a rough idea or a preset opener. |
| Thread writing | Compose5–8 tweet threads, edited tweet by tweet. |
| Scheduling | Queue, Calendar and posting slots |
| Drafts | Queue → Drafts |
Key differences
- A brand kit drives every draft: voice, do's and don'ts, pillars and glossary.
- More formats: a reply assistant for posts you paste in, and a long-form article writer.
- AI images are built in.
- A free plan with the editor, X-accurate preview, drafts queue and brand kit, no time limit.
What Extudio doesn't do
Worth knowing before you switch. If one of these is the reason you use Postwise, keep it for that.
- Post analytics.
- Automatic retweets, plugs or DMs.
- Evergreen recycling of old posts.
- Importing your Postwise drafts or queue. Copy the posts you want into Compose.
Moving over, step by step
- Create your account. Sign up with Google, X or your email. The Free plan has no time limit and needs no card.
- Set up your brand. Give the brand wizard your website and it drafts your positioning, voice and pillars (paid plans), or fill in your name, story and voice by hand. Every draft reads from it from then on.
- Move your queued posts. Paste the posts still waiting in Postwise into Compose and schedule them. Pause the Postwise queue first so nothing posts twice.
- Connect X. Connect your account through X's official sign-in (Creator and Pro). We never see your password, and you can disconnect from settings.
- Set your posting slots. In settings, add the days and times you want to post. Scheduled posts fill those slots and publish from our servers, browser closed.
Pricing
Extudio has a free plan with no time limit and no card, and two paid plans. AI is included in the paid plans; there are no API keys to bring.
- Free, $0: the tweet, thread and article editor, X-accurate preview, drafts queue and brand kit; posts go out through X’s own composer.
- Creator, $19/month: 300 AI drafts, 50 images, up to 2 X accounts and scheduled auto-posting.
- Pro, $49/month: 1,500 AI drafts, 250 images, up to 5 X accounts and scheduled auto-posting.
Details about Postwise reflect its public website as of November 2026 and may have changed since. Postwise is a trademark of its owner; Extudio isn’t affiliated with it.
