Built for threads

A thread from one topic

Pick Thread in the wizard and get 5–8 connected tweets with a hook up front and a point that lands at the end.

Edit tweet by tweet

Rewrite one tweet, move it up or down, insert or delete. The rest of the thread stays put.

Fill the gaps

“Generate after” writes a tweet that links the one above to the one below, when the jump is too big.

Split a long draft

Paste an essay and split it into a thread at 280 characters with one click.

See it as X will

Preview the whole thread on desktop, tablet or mobile, with images and link cards, before it goes out.

Posted in order

Scheduled threads publish as a reply chain from our servers. If X fails mid-thread, retry picks up where it stopped.

How it works

  1. 01

    Choose Thread

Pick the Thread format and a topic, or paste a long draft to split.

  2. 02

    Shape it

Rewrite the hook, add a linking tweet, reorder. Preview it end to end.

  3. 03

    Schedule it

Drop it into a posting slot. It posts as one thread, in order, on time.

What makes a thread work

A good thread earns every tweet: a first line that makes the click worth it, one idea per tweet, and an ending that pays off the promise. Most threads lose readers in the middle, where one tweet doesn't follow from the last.

Extudio's thread maker is built around that middle. You can rewrite any single tweet without touching the others, and generate a bridging tweet wherever the argument jumps.

Threads that post themselves

Posting a thread by hand means replying to yourself eight times, in order, without a typo. Scheduled threads in Extudio publish from our servers as a proper reply chain, one image per tweet, with your laptop closed.

If X has a hiccup we retry automatically. If a thread stops halfway, the queue tells you how many tweets went out, and a retry continues from the next one instead of posting duplicates.
