Terms of Service
The rules for using Extudio: your account, your content, X, billing, and what we are and are not responsible for.
Last updated November 3, 2026
1. The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Extudio (“we”, “us”) for the use of the website and the studio at extudio.dev (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them, together with our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you can bind it, and “you” means the company too.
2. What the Service does
Extudio helps you write, schedule and publish content to X: drafting with AI in your brand voice, generating images, keeping a content queue and posting on a schedule through your connected X account. Features vary by plan and we add, change and retire them over time.
3. Your account
- Keep your sign-in method secure and tell us at once if you think your account has been compromised.
- Give accurate account details and keep them current.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account and the X accounts you connect to it.
- One person per account; you may connect several X accounts to it where your plan allows.
4. X and other third-party services
Publishing goes through the X API using the access you grant when you connect an account. You remain bound by X’s terms, rules and automation rules. X can change or limit its API at any time; when it does, scheduled posts may fail or be delayed, and we are not responsible for that.
You can disconnect an X account at any time from Settings, which deletes the tokens we hold for it.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to:
- publish spam, scams, deceptive engagement, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, or anything that breaks X’s rules or applicable law;
- post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
- impersonate a person or organisation, or run accounts you are not authorised to run;
- probe, overload or interfere with the Service, bypass plan limits, or share one account between several people;
- resell the Service or use it to build a competing product by scraping its output at scale.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
6. Your content and AI output
You own what you bring to the Service and what you publish. You give us the licence we need to store, process, display and transmit it in order to run the Service for you, and nothing more. We do not use your content to train AI models.
AI-generated drafts and images are produced by third-party models and are provided as they come. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to output produced for others, or unsuitable for your purpose. You review everything before it is published and you are responsible for what you publish. To the extent we hold any rights in generated output, we assign them to you.
7. Plans, billing and cancellation
- The Free plan is free for as long as we offer it, with the limits shown on the pricing page. We can change those limits with notice on the site.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, through our payment processor, at the price shown when you subscribe. Taxes are added where they apply.
- Allowances (generations, images, posts) reset each billing period and do not roll over.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. We do not give refunds for partial periods, except where the law requires it.
- If a payment fails we retry it and tell you; if it keeps failing the account drops to the Free plan.
- We can change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; the new price applies from your next renewal after that.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service up and to publish scheduled posts on time, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features, and we may shut the Service down altogether with at least 30 days’ notice, during which you can export your data from Settings.
9. Termination
You can close your account at any time by emailing support@extudio.dev. We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we must by law, or if the account has been inactive on the Free plan for more than 12 months (with 30 days’ notice by email). Sections that by their nature should survive — your content rights, disclaimers, liability and governing law — survive termination.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI output is accurate, that posts will publish at the exact time set, or that the Service will be error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from content you publish through the Service or from your breach of these terms or of X’s rules.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of [Jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers keep any protections of the law where they live. Before going to court, email us and we will try to sort it out within 30 days.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a material change we email the address on your account at least 14 days before it takes effect; continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
