Event promo tweet template
People sign up for events when they know what they'll walk away with. This template leads with the outcome and keeps the logistics clear.
The template
[Event type] on [date]: [what attendees will walk away with]. [Who it's for.] [Time and time zone] · [online or location] · [price or "free"] [How to sign up, e.g. "Link in the reply."]
When to use it
- You're hosting a webinar, workshop, meetup, livestream or X Space.
- You want sign-ups, not just impressions.
- You need a format you can repost in the days before the event.
Why it works
The outcome
What people will know or have after the event is the reason to sign up. Lead with it, not the event's name.
Who it's for
Naming the audience makes the right people feel invited and lets the wrong ones skip it.
The logistics
Time with time zone, place and price in one line answer every practical question.
How to sign up
One clear action. A link in the reply keeps the main tweet readable.

Live Q&A on March 20: bring your tax questions about freelance income and get straight answers. For freelancers filing their first or second year on their own. 7 p.m. ET · on X Spaces · free Set a reminder from the link in the reply.
Tips
- Always include the time zone. "12 p.m." alone loses half your audience.
- Post three times: a week before, the day before and an hour before.
- Schedule the reminders in advance with a tweet scheduler so you're not posting while setting up.
- After the event, post the best takeaway as a quick tip tweet for people who missed it.
